Landry has been participating in a cheerleading class offered at her school once a week.
Tonight was their big performance. They got to perform at a high school basketball game. They cheered from the stands during the first half, then performed two dances and a cheer on the court during half-time.
She mostly had fun, but like most cheerleaders, there was a moment or two of high drama. The girls were on one side of the court and the parents were on the other side. I was sitting in the stands video taping her and when I zoomed in I realized she was crying...no, BAWLING. She didn't miss a beat or movement of her cheers, but she was definitely upset and crying. I finally walked over to see what was wrong, and apparently she was upset because she couldn't see where we were sitting and she thought we had left. :( It was sad and pitiful, but once she could see where we were sitting, she was fine. (I really need to figure out how to upload video to this thing!)

poor landry...i love that she's cheering, though!...maybe we have another "make it all the way up to pop warner cheerleading" cheerleader on our hands.

Just cruised your adorable post. I'd cheer with those girls. It's Saturday and we know where all TECHsan's will be. If you aren't there....glued to the TV. We moved from Lubbock just 5 yrs ago after 35+ years. We now live 70 mi. NE and love it.

That is CRAZY!!! My Caroline was there. She is in Pre-K. Her mom hasn't posted about it yet, but her blog is The Haag Highlights. Too funny.

I LOVED cheering! I hope Kylie loves it someday, too. I'm gonna show her this of Landry!
