We had a good Halloween this year. It was our first Halloween in Lubbock, and I admit that I missed being in McKinney. I missed going to our old church's carnival and trick-or-treating in our old neighborhood with neighbors we knew.
The kids, though? They didn't care. Candy is candy is candy--no matter where you are.
Our Halloween started by going to Korley's school's Halloween party. At school, she was a bee. A very grouchy bee, actually. She stuck to me like glue because she was afraid Jeff and I were going to leave. The kids trick-or-treated to the other classrooms and then had snacks and such in their classroom. It was really cute to see her little friends in their costumes.
Then, Friday evening we went to a local church's fall festival. They had tons of stuff to do for the kids, and Landry and Korley had a blast!
After the festival, Korley was pooped so she went home and went to bed, and I took Landry trick-or-treating in our neighborhood.

And here is Korley's best Lily Tomlin impersonation....

Your girls look so cute. Thanks again for commenting on my blog. I just read some of your old posts and they are great. I have found another blog to add to my list.
Looks like you guys had a great time with all of the festivities. I love your hair cut btw.
good grief. could korley look any more like your baby pictures in that picture of her with the sucker in her mouth???
Landry seems to really be getting into the cowgirl spirit! Abby was so proud to see her learning to rope! Korley's impersonation is spot on! So cute!
