Disney--Day 4

We got to Hollywood Studios before the park opened that morning.  It was supposed to rain in the afternoon and I wanted to make sure we could get in everything we wanted to do before the rain storms started.

As soon as the park opened, Jeff and the girls went to ride Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror again and I went to get fast passes for Toy Story Mania.  The park was so uncrowded that they got to ride both of those rides several times before we went on to do something else.  After Toy Story Mania, the girls played for a while at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids park.  This was one of their favorite things at HS and I wished they had seen the movie--I think they would have enjoyed it even more!

We ate lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine In.  The concept was cool, but I wouldn't do it again.  We got to sit in a "convertible" at a "drive in", which was cool.  And, the food was good.  But, hence the name, they showed old Sci Fi movie clips.  And, if they weren't boring, they were weird.

By the time we had finished lunch, it was raining really hard.  Fortunately, we had done everything we wanted to do and were looking forward to going back to the hotel and taking a nap.  Well, I was looking forward to taking a nap--but the girls didn't argue, I knew they were tired, too!

The rain had stopped and the sky was clear by early evening, so we decided to go to Downtown Disney for dinner.  We had dinner at the T-Rex Cafe and shopped for souvenirs at the Disney stores.

Up next is Animal Kingdom!
