The week after Christmas was a busy week for us! First, we hosted the annual "after Christmas Christmas party" of my bestie Pi Phi college friends and their families (missed you Jenny and Andrea!).
Here is a picture of the girls that could make it. What you can't see are all of the millions of children running around and having a crazy dance party in the play room. I love that we all have kids that are growing up to know each other! I would love for all of them to end up at Tech together and continue their friendship!

The following day, our dear friends, the Schwertners, came for a short visit. The grown-ups enjoyed a night out at Bonnell's for dinner while the girls stayed home with a babysitter--it was a win/win for everyone!

We had 3 of our friends' families over for New Year's Eve for a low-key evening. Us grown-ups had a fabulous steak, potato, and burgundy mushroom dinner--while the kids had another dance party in the play room! :)
Jeff bought a bunch of fireworks to set off on NYE. They were actually really good fireworks and very pretty, but my pictures of both the kids and the fireworks are terrible. They all pretty much look like this.....smoky!
Just envision a bunch of kids running around and laughing and sparkling. :)
