Today was Landry's first day of third grade!!
And, today was the third year in a row, I woke Landry up by singing the Veggie Tales song "Billy Joe Mcguffery". Once she opens her eyes, she sings along with me; however, I don't think this will last too many more years before I'm "totally annoying mom".
Despite the following pictures, Landry actually was excited today. The photo op today was a turning of tables--Korley cooperating, Landry not.
Truthfully, Landry's going through a stage where she doesn't really want to smile with her teeth showing for pictures since she has so many gaps from lost teeth!
She still looks beautiful, though!
This is Korley's 2nd week of K4! She's loving her class and teacher!

Oh, my gracious. I have been singing that song all day! I told Mary Beth I hoped she didn't need first aid in the first grade. She looked at me like I was a total embarrassment. ;)

She looks great. Third grade sounds really big! How do they get big so quickly?
I think her closed mouth smile is beautiful. It's a hard look to pull off and not everyone can do it!
All of us First Grade moms may be glad to have you around so we know when the first day of school pictures starts wearing on them!
She looks so grown-up! I pray that third grade is an amazing year for her. She is so pretty!
