(continued from previous post)
While the dads and older girls were fishing, Kristen, Korley, Kate and I went to get pedicures.
Korley had never had a pedicure (why wouldn't she? she's four!!), and she was pretty excited! It goes without saying that she loved being pampered!
She really loved the little flowers they painted on her big toes and the little bead they added (she called it a button :) to bling it up! Unfortunately, this fancy polish job lasted about 10 more minutes after this picture was taken.
After our pedicures and a little lite shopping, we stopped for a bite to eat, which made everyone happy!
We spent the rest of the afternoon at Scott and Kristen's swimming at their house. Then, on Saturday, we spent most of the day at the beach. Korley had only been to the beach when she was a baby, so she was excited! She loved playing in the waves, finding shells, and playing in the sand!
Landry loved the beach, too, but spent a lot of time walking around with the net trying to catch stuff. Typical Landry!
Scott had set up some crab traps and caught several. Landry and Korley thought this was really cool. Here's Korley holding one of the crabs he caught. All of what was caught was too small to keep, though, so they all got thrown back.
After a long afternoon at the beach, we went home, cleaned up, left the kids with a babysitter, and went out for a grown-up dinner! We went to an unbelievably delicious Italian restaurant. But, as great as the food was, the company was even better!
Thanks, Scott and Kristen for hosting us! We had a blast with you guys and miss getting to see you more often!

Oh my goodness, my uncle lives in Lake Jackson and is always talking about this fabulous Italian place that where we need to eat. Wonder if it's the same place!
Looks like it won't be Korley's last pedicure...she looks likes she's lovin' it!
Looks like a great trip. What a great vacation- for kids and adults. Also, I think it is never too early to get started on pedicures!
