Jeff was out of town this past weekend with his friends for their annual dove hunt. So, since it was just going to be the girls and me, we thought it would be fun to have two of my friends (whose husbands were also dove hunting) and their kids up for the weekend. One friend called me a couple days before she was supposed to come and had to back out. But, my other friend, Sarah, did get to come and she brought her two girls.
We had babysitters lined up for both Friday and Saturday nights and we had planned to go out on the town....and stay out til at least 9!!
We used our babysitter for Friday night, but by Friday after dinner Sarah was feeling really bad and decided to go back to DFW on Saturday afternoon.
And, instead of us hanging out Saturday morning before she left, I was at the doctor's office with Korley. She developed this funky, weird rash and it was getting worse by the hour. Turns out, she had a staph skin infection (ew). See.....
Gross, huh? Anyway, she's been on an antibiotic and it's looking MUCH better.

Bless her heart! I hate that she has such a tough time; it's just not fair! I'm so glad she is better!
Oh my goodness...staph infection is serious! Hope she gets completely healed soon!!
