Yesterday, Jeff and I took Landry and Korley to At'l Do Farms (yes, that's the real name). It's a corn farm a few miles from Lubbock where the main attraction is a maze in the maize, but they also have barnyard animals (ick), hayrides, a cow train, a pumpkin patch, and a corn cannon.
Despite the fact that it was the windiest day so far since we've lived here and I'm still scraping dirt out of my eyeballs, we had fun.
Here's an aerial view of the maize maze. (note to reader, I didn't take this picture :)

Here's the gang in the maize maze--(well, the part of the gang that's not always behind the camera)
They have these trivia games you can play as you move through the maize maze, and you can choose different games depending on your interests and if you get the answer right, it should help you proceed to the next number. They have movie trivia, sports, history, political, etc. We chose "preschool"---we still struggled in proceeding to the next number.
Did I mention that the maize maze is a mile and a half long? A MILE AND A HALF! Which can seem like 48 miles when trapsing along with a two-year-old that wants to take a picture every step and a half.
Korley thought the baby cow (calf?) was hilarious.
Landry shootin' corn out of the corn cannon.
I tried to get a cute pic of the girls together, but they were more interested in chewing on the hay.
and, getting dirt out of their eyes.

That looks like SO much fun! Kaitlyn would LOVE it. How have I never heard of this place? My parents are holdin' out on me!! Thanks for sharing, we'll be sure to check it out next time we're in town.
Hope ya'll are doing okay!
We went to one of these places a couple of years ago, but Lila was only about six months old, so she got nothing out if it. I wonder if she'd like it now...not that I have the urge to attempt taking her with the twins...maybe next year :).
that's so weird that we were both at a maze on the same day. i actually was saying to the girls how i had always (and still) want to do a corn maize maze....maybe next year with you guys in lbb.
i can't believe it was a mile and a half, though! that's ridiculous!
hope you're having fun!
Wow! What a work of art the corn- maize maze is! I am so impressed, and in awe of the person(s) responsible. That looks like such fun; wish we had been able to do that while I was there--maybe next year. I'm assuming the corn-maize maze is now an annual event for the Edwards family--right? The girls look so cute. Korley seems to be taking after her Mom and Lulu in wanting to take pictures! How was the painting of the pumpkins?
I was both amused and creeped out by your title...that movie made the farms of middle America a very frightening place.
Glad you made it out of the maize maze!
That looks like so much fun! We went to a similar type place last year and this makes me want to go back!
How fun! And LOL about the dirt in the eyeballs. So West Texas.
I know Landon would love that...except, he'd probably try to escape through the corn.
What an adventure! I'm pretty impressed that Korley made it through the entire maze. I had no idea there was anything like that in Lubbock.
That looks cool but after reading your title all I could think of was the night we were lost and you made many references to the same movie- remember?
