Literally mere minutes after I posted the below entry, Landry came up to me and asked, "Can I watch Animal Planet, please?" And as she said please, she emphasized the word with air quotes.
So, am I to assume that she may or may not have been trying to use good manners?

ha! i guess i sometimes use air quotes--maybe more than i thought i did, but i don't know if she got that from me or not. hmmmmmm....
