*I've been getting my nails done from this lady for over two years. She's the eldest in the nail shop and owns/runs it. For two years I've been calling her "Momma"...I thought that's what she told me her name was. I learned yesterday that it's "Nona" (Non-a).
*My baby starts Kindergarten in less than a month. Please pass the kleenex.
*I admit that I haven't read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie, but I don't think I would like it. I'm not a big fan of make-believe that is out of the realm of possibility of being real.
*However, for some I continue to watch Days of Our Lives--which is the most ridiculous show ever. And, by the way, why is it that people on TV and movies always escape a hotel room by leaving out of the bathroom window?? When was the last time you stayed in a hotel that had a bathroom in the window?
*I'm going to the lake on Saturday. Is there anyway humanly possible that I can lose 30 lbs by then?
*I seriously think the word seriously is being way overused.
*I just got my hair cut last week, but I'm already wanting to get a new hair style.
*My brain is now empty--talk to y'all later!

I don't know if it's all the extra hormones I'm taking right now, but I found that first point very funny...actually made me laugh out loud..not something I do very often.
Even if you don't like them, I highly encourage you to read the HP books, at least the first four, with Landry when she's a little older. They are the kind of books that are so wonderfully written that they make kids LIKE to read...and for those that already like to...well, they're just great literary works of art. I love those books. Haven't read the last one though.
My kids are both obsessed with Harry Potter at the moment and I can't even pretend to be interested. I just don't get it.
Courtney, you make me laugh. Thank you! And I agree with Chas - read the HP books with Landry when she's older. At least try the first one and if she doesn't like it, nothing lost. Chas - read the final book - I think it is perfect and a treat.
We are so on the same wave-length...
*I have never jumped on to the HP wagon either.
*I always walk out of my hairplace wanting a new haircut because it never turns out the way I have pictured in my head.
*I wake up everyday and wonder how I could lose 20-30 pounds before walking out the door.
*My sweet girl starts school in less than a month and I am getting a little weepy already.
Hope you have a wonderful week:)
I forgot, I too watch Days then wonder after it is over why???
No I have never stayed where there is a window in the bathroom:)
A bathroom in the window, or a window in the bathroom? Haha. Just had to point that out b/c I'm mean. Good point though!
And point number one also made me laugh out loud.
I, too, need to lose 30 pounds in a hurry. I have a visit to my OB on Thursday and I don't want him questioning why I weigh more now than I did at my 6 week postpartum visit :(
Courtney- It won't let me reply to your comments on my blog, I have no idea why?? So, just wanted to say Hi!
leslie--ha ha ha!! well, you don't see bathrooms in windows, either!
