I know this will come as a shock to most people, but believe it or not, I didn't grow up thinking that I wanted to be a Credit Analyst when I grew up. I never really had wild dreams of having a half-wall cube under bright flourescent lights, a computer monitor that's color is going to go out at any second, a 30 minute commute each way on Central Expressway traffic, and worrying about putting the "correct coversheet on my TPS reports". :)
Actually, I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. A few years ago, though, my family and I threw around the idea of owning a summer camp. Our camp was going to be on Lake LBJ and would be a Christian sports camp. We would have all kinds of fun activities: water skiing, swimming, a water trampoline, a rock climbing wall, horse back riding, plus all of the other sports. AND, we would for sure have air- conditioned cabins. Each of us would have our own role. Lindsay would be in charge recruiting the counselors, Brady would be in charge of organizing the sports, both of them would be in charge of planning the devotianals and booking music since they have so much experience in ministry and both have so many friends in Christian music. Jeff would be in charge of the day-to-day operational duties. My mom and dad would just be there to hang out and enjoy life.....they deserve a break. And, I would just be in charge of being in charge; ask my family, what I do best is "boss." :)
Anyway, once we get all of this off the ground (land bought, cabins built, horses, boats, sports equipment, marketing, and on and on and on) I'll let you all know and your kids can come spend their summers with us! For now, though, I'm going to get back to my TPS reports. (sigh)

Yes, LHall (Lindsay) is my sister. She just started working a couple of weeks ago at ACU with Leslie.....small world, huh?!?
Sign me up for 2 boys in about 7 years, can they come for the whole summer?
How fun!! I would definitely send my girls. What is better than camp year round as long as the cabins are air conditioned??
Next time you are in Abilene we will have to meet...I would love to meet Lindsay too. I may meet her soon through Leslie:)
Definitely, Erica! We're hoping we can make a trip to Abilene before the end of the summer. We'll have to plan something!
