This is the first picture in my series of BAD HAIR DAYS. I'm the third one from the left.
Actually, this "hair day" went on for a couple of years. This picture was taken on the last day of school 1989. I know big teased hair/mall bangs were popular then, but I had SUPER HUGE HAIR. I don't know if you can tell well or not, but my bangs are higher than the top of the chalkboard.
Almost as bad, though, as my hair is the outfit I am wearing! I remember getting this outfit and saving it for the last day of school because I thought it was so cute. The girl to my left is wearing a purple "Units" belt. Remember that? And the guy on the far right of the picture is not wearing high-waters, he has his jeans tight rolled. So cool!
Believe it or not, this is NOT the worst hair style I have ever had. Check back for that later!!

RANDOM STUFF:
-It is so so so so so so so so so so so so HOT. I went to the grocery store last night and when I left at 8:20 pm, my car thermometer read 102!!! Ugh!
-I'm trying to drink only water for the rest of the month. Why oh why did I pick the one time of the year where our water tastes like dirt?? Apparently, the lakes are turning over (whatever that means) and the water tastes horrible!
-Last night when Landry prayed she thanked God for concrete.
-I had an interview last week for a new position (promotion, kind of) at my current job. I got tongue tied and said the word "fart" instead of "fault". Don't think it helped any that I started giggling like a six-year-old boy.

I love the story but the picture is priceless. It is so funny to look at what we thought was cool back in the day. I look forward to hearing if you got the new job. I am sure the interviewer had a sense of humor and gave you high marks.
At least you're not the third one from the right...now THAT'S bad hair!
