For introducing you to the below blog (I've you've never visited).
I am a fan of many blogs, but some of my favorites are ones that are short entries and basically read like picture books. Big fan of People of Wal-Mart (you KNOW you've seen some of these people in your neighborhoood WM), Cake Wrecks is hilarious, and I never miss a post on Awkward Family Photos. It usually makes me laugh out loud.
But, my new favorite is Catalog Living.
This blog author, who is the girl of the "Sonic couple", provides commentary for all of those people "living" in our catalogs. Here is a link to one of my favorites. Hilarious.
Also, on a completely different note--if you're a fan of Friday Night Lights (ME!), they will be filming the "championship game" for the series finale on Friday July, 16 and Saturday, July 17 at the Cotton Bowl. They're looking for thousands of extras to show up and fill the stands. Here's the details if you're interested (ME!).

Courtney - my sister-in-law, Yuriko's, family picture is on Awkward Family Photos....they even made the book. It's titled "the space between". Check it out. That site is hilarious.

we "found" catalog living on monday and just sat on the couch and laughed our fool heads off. and since we had so much fun and have a newborn and don't get out much, we quickly deemed it a "date night." thank you, catalog living.
KARIN!! I didn't even have to go to the blog to remember what picture you're talking about. I remember that one making me laugh and thinking, "why don't they like their little boy?" Too funny. Remind me to ask Yuriko for her autograph next time I see her! :)
Angie--oh, wouldn't that be THE GREATEST?!? seriously, though, call me if you do want to go. i can't go on the 17th but am planning on going on the 16th.

I just spent a whole hour laughing at people at WalMart. I may have to walk through the store with my phone armed and ready.
