For the sake of documentation purposes, last Thursday was my birthday. It was a great, low-key day. Jeff hired a babysitter and he and I went to Sundance Square in Fort Worth for dinner. I was really hungry for Italian food, and truly I would have loved to have just gone to Macaroni Grill. But, since it was my birthday and we had a babysitter, I felt like we needed to go somewhere outside the norm. We ended up going to Traverna in Sundance Square. The atmosphere was great, and the food was good--however, I'm still craving Pasta Milano!
Here's a few pics from pre-birthday dinner. Don't I look older?
Saturday, we had a bunch of our college friends over for the afternoon for food and swimming. 13 adults and 13 kids--so fun!
We had swimming......
Kid throwing.......(Gigi, look away!!)
baby holding...........
Korley quote: For my birthday, I want a baby like this one--that's real and cute.
royal appearances.......
and peasant appearances!
Fun Saturday! I love hosting a house-full of people! We're really looking forward to summer!
