Tiny Dancer

Last Saturday was Landry's first (and sadly, probably last) dance recital! It was so precious and she did a GREAT job! Her group (there were three of them total) danced to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". She didn't seem intimidated at all by the big stage--she never stopped smiling and never looked nervous. However, she has told me repeatedly that she doesn't want to take dance anymore.....because she doesn't like wearing tights. Who can blame her?

What an awesome performance by Landry! She looked adorable and was so confident and personable on stage! She knew her routine perfectly, and she really connected with the audience. It makes me sad that she does not want to continue taking dance. I can't blame her, however, for not wanting to wear tights! Landry, you were GREAT!!

I second that...tights are really not pleasant! Such wisdom from an almost kindergartener.

How cute!!! I love how she knows her mind. Like, these tights suck and I am not putting up with it!

She looks beautiful! What a cutie!!

As for quitting dance...make her think it out and if she still doesn't want to I'd ask her what extra curricular thing she wants to do. I think it's really good for them to be involved in something.
