Our vacation was in a word.....exhausting! Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly:
good:
-beautiful wedding at a beautiful place!! Jeff's brother and our new sister-in-law looked great and were very happy!
-getting to see a lot of Jeff's family
-the wedding festivities!
-great food!
-Korley's very first plane ride.
-Smiley (our fish) survived 5 days with no food!
-Landry had a blast swimming, finding "sea creatures" in the ocean, and playing with her cousins
bad:
-the "service" (lack thereof) at our condo....ugh! so frustrating!
-our condo itself
-Korley NOT eating
-cutting my fingers two different times--once I cut my index finger pretty deep with a knife. The second time I cut my ring finger with scissors. ouch!
-departing out of Terminal A (where we parked) and returning at Terminal D (where we didn't park!!)
-Landry finding out Steve Irwin has died. I knew this was just a matter of time, but she was sad.
ugly:
-Korley's very first plane ride.
-Smiley (our fish) survived 5 days with no food!
-the 60+ mosquito bites I have!!! I have 23 on one half of my left leg. Seriously!
-Korley at the doctor's office. Yes, we went to the doctor's office in Florida....wouldn't be a complete week for us without a doctor's visit!!
-Korley having fever and Fifth's Disease.

Landry was finished with lunch and wanted to go swimming again. I told her not until she smiled for the camera...this is the best she could muster up!

I love the pics! My dad's brother is Uncle Glen too! We are headed to Florida next month and am not excited about the 90+ and humid.
the pictures of the girls are beautiful. Traveling with the little ones is crazy!!!!

The pictures are precious...especially the black and white ones. Your girls are growing up so much especially Korley. we have not attempted a plane ride with the girls and probably will not for a long time:) Glad that you enjoyed Florida despite the bad and the ugly things you encountered. It is true though that there is no place like home.
So glad you are all back from FL! We missed you so much, and we are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Awww, GREAT pictures! Especially the B&W ones. Sorry the plane trip was so awful. That is partly why we are driving instead of flying. You can pull a car over, but not so much a plane :)
Those are wonderful pictures. Your girls are just beautiful! I'm so sorry to hear that Korley's first plane ride wasn't the best. I feel for her though, my ears bother me a lot when I fly, to the point where I feel like my eardrums will burst...and then I can't hear afterward. It usually makes me sick for a day or two afterward.
Phil also has an Uncle Glen...very popular uncle name, I guess.
