That's What She Said

Whew! Glad this weekend is behind us. It was a busy one!! I took my kids to Arlington on Friday morning so they could stay with my mom & dad this weekend. Friday night Jeff and I went to a couple's baby shower for a friend of his from high school and his wife. On Saturday, I prepared all day for another couple's baby shower that we had at our house Saturday night. We had a great time! Good food, good friends, and good fun! Then on Sunday, Jeff and I met my parents mid-morning to eat an early lunch and pick Landry and Korley up. We then had a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt (105 kids participated!!) and Sunday evening we had two families over for dinner. Needless to say, I could use a little nap today!

Today also marks the one year anniversary of Jeff's, Landry's, and my last day as a family of three! Or, the one year anniversary of the day before Korley was born. :) That's right--she'll be ONE tomorrow. Amazing! I don't think I ever blogged about this, but the one great thing about having a scheduled delivery date is knowing the actual date that your family will be smaller than it will be the next day. Last year on this day, Jeff, Landry, and I had a fun-filled day. We went to brunch with Jeff's parents and then just the three of us spent the afternoon at the Arboretum. Landry had so much fun running and dancing in the lawn; and I enjoyed sitting my big fat pregnant self in the shade and listening to the music and soaking in the nice Spring weather. We ended the day with a yummy dinner with my parents at Campisi's. Here are a few pics from that day:
