My daughter is SO smart!!

I know all parents think their child is the smartest, cutest, funniest (you can add your
own -est).... and I have become one of "those" parents. My child is so smart. And since pretty much my whole blogging audience consists of my family members, I don't think anyone will object. But, just in case, here is some proof:

- Landry has this United States puzzle and some of the pieces are really small, but she can put it together in no time....even the really small northeastern states. Not only can she put it together, but she has learned so many of the state's names, and something significant about them. For instance, Daddy was born in Colorado.....Buzzy lives in Arkansas.....Alla-turkey (Albuquerque) is in New Mexico.

- The other day we were driving to church and she looked out into this field and saw one horse and two cows and she said, "there is one horse and two cows." Then she said, "hey, that can make a fraction....Like 1 and 2." A FRACTION?!?!? Ok, so maybe she didn't totally use it in the right context (maybe she meant ratio???), but how many three-year-olds are talking about fractions?

sidenote: I don't take any credit for her knowing about fractions. Fractions are thanks to the genius of Cyberchase on PBS Kids! Cyberchase is also responsible for Landry having the word "tesselation" in her vocabulary.
