This past Saturday was Landry's NINTH birthday!
I know! It's hard for me to believe, too!
I still remember so clearly anticipating her being born. And, I still remember so clearly when she looked like this!
She was the cutest little chunky monkey adorable baby {well, technically, it is a tie with her sister, Korley!}
I'm SO VERY PROUD of the young lady Landry is becoming. She is kind, considerate, fun, funny, smart, interesting, among many other great things!
On Saturday, Jeff and I took Landry, her two friends, and Korley to Rainforest Cafe for lunch and then on to Great Wolf Lodge. Landry opted for doing this as opposed to a big birthday party. It was a lot of fun for her to get to celebrate for such a long period of time with two of her best buds!

Top bunk--always a hit
Sunday evening, we went to my mom & dad's to have a little celebration with my family. The below tshirt was one of her gifts. The puppy on it looks EXACTLY like Baxter did as a puppy.
In fact, it looks EXACTLY like this picture my mom took of Baxter when we first got him.
Landry's cake--my mom's AWESOME chocolate sheet cake decorated with safari animals.

What a great birthday. I think a trip to Great Wolf would beat out any party!! Glad she had a great time with friends. She is such a beautiful young lady!

THE sweetest nine year old; always so appreciative. We are so blessed and fortunate to have her in our lives! Hope her ninth year is the best ever!
