That way, I would be sticking to one of my resolutions.
Or, possibly, I would update it more (since my life tends to be one big fat "opposite day").
Anyway, here we are well into January of 2011 and things are going well!
Not much to report--the girls started back to school, Jeff and I have been swamped with work, and TV has started back so I can finally go on my reading hiatus. :)
We hosted our annual "After Christmas Christmas party" with my bestie college friends and their families on New Year's Day. As usual, it was tons of fun to get everyone together and catch up. And, as usual, we missed the couple of families that didn't get to come this year.
And, as usual, the kids had a blast playing together. Lots of dress-up, dance-offs, and bands rocking in the play room!
Korley had asked for ice skates from Santa Claus. SC didn't bring them. Instead, he left her a letter explaining why he didn't think ice skates in Texas were appropriate, but thought she would enjoy rollerblades. And, enjoy she does! She's actually getting pretty good at it, too! Of course, she likes to look good while rollin'--which is why she puts on every big fluffy tutu skirt she has before she skates.
A couple of weekends ago, our friends, the Schwertners, came to visit us from Lake Jackson. We left our 4 girls at home with a sitter and went out to a fun dinner with Scott and Kristen. Man, WE. MISS. THEM!! Especially me. Kristen and I have been friends for a million years and went from seeing each other practically every day (we work together, too) to moving to opposite ends of Texas from each other. But, fortunately, we get together whenever we can and it's always a blast! And, we're blessed that our girls get along so well and love playing together!
That's about all of the new news for now! Hope to update again before 2012! ;)

Why stop at one tutu when 10 is so much better?!?
Glad your 2011 is off to a good start!
I too believe 10 tutus are better than one. (Plus way more padding!) So excited to see you blogging (not that I have either, but it's fun to read real peoples blogs as opposed to the PW.)
We miss you guys, too! Thanks for such a fun weekend! Can't wait to do it again soon!
I've been refreshing your blog page since January 1st....yessss, finally a pay off. :)
Love Korley in her tutus and roller blades. :)
