Both of the kids are adjusting well, we're making our house "homey", we've been able to spend more time with family, and we're getting to reconnect with old friends.
This past weekend we had some of our best friends over both Saturday and Sunday.
And, even though it's not quite the heat of the summer, the weather was nice and the kids were eager to try out the pool.
Saturday, we had our friends, the Andersons over. Although Luke has his eyes closed, you can only see half of Jake's head, Landry's making a fish face, and Korley's goggles are fogged up, this was the best picture I got of all four kids together. Figures.
Sunday afternoon, we had the Files' and Lowrys over. I didn't even attempt to take a group pic of all 8 kids, but did take a pic of the over-crowded hot tub.
Don't let this sweet face and pink floaties fool ya....David's a toughie!!
The diving board was a big hit, too.
That's Korley making the splash. This was her first time off of the diving board. There was a little bit of peer pressure involved.
We're looking forward to summer!

What a great back yard! Are you in the same area of the metroplex that you were before? So glad that the worst of it is over for you!
Looks like you have changed scenery since Lubbock. No trees to a forest. The pool looks like fun and you will love it in July!!
