These 4 were the kids I was in charge of. Fortunately, they were all great kids, but the Science Spectrum is a HUGE place and I was nervous most of the time trying to keep up with all of them.
We had a lot of fun, though, and I'm so glad I could go on this field trip.

On Saturday, Jeff and I took the girls to the Lubbock Art's Festival. I had never gone before. It reminded me a lot of going to the Buffalo Gap Art's Festival when I was a kid (except it wasn't outside and there were no confetti eggs).
There was a lot of stuff for kids to do. Landry and Korley (with lots of help from mommy and daddy) made toolboxes at the Home Depot booth.
Finished product......

I asked Korley to hold up her toolbox so I could take a picture. In typical take-me-literally-Korley-fashion, she held it up as high as she could.
They also had a craft room where the kids could make all kinds of stuff. They had pipe cleaners, feathers, glitter, foam objects, colored styrofoam peanuts, etc.
My kids projects? Korley just wanted to put glue on stuff. She didn't want to glue it to anything, she just wanted to waste a bunch of glue.
And Landry wanted to draw a picture. Uh, we could have done that at home--but, oh well. She drew a cute picture of Super Baxter leaping a tall building with a single bound.
Jeff wanted to show off his project, too. He glued pink cotton balls to Korley's toolbox and wrapped the handle with pipe cleaners. Sorry ladies....he's all mine!
Threw this one in just for fun. I took this the other day before church and wanted to include it so I could prove that there are moments of the day when my children's hair is not in their face.

Wow, I miss you guys!
I have very fond memories of the Buffalo Gap confetti eggs! One of the only things I remember about going!
How fun for all of you! Love Korley holding her toolbox so high...too cute.
I love the picture of Landry in the shark's mouth... awesome!
Too bad the art festival didn't have the confetti eggs... those were the days huh?
So fun. Too bad we didn't run into each other at the Arts Festival.
What a fun weekend! I do love the Science Spectrum!~
