I don't know if it's just because we're still barely into a new year and not much has gone on, or if I just haven't had the motivation to blog lately, but my poor little blog is being neglected.
So, I'll just write a recap post....
My mom was here with us for a week and a half. Jeff was working out of town for a week and then on Friday he had sinus surgery, so she was here to help with the kids, Baxter, Jeff, laundry, meals....and ME! It was so nice having her here to visit. She just left today and already the kids miss her. Korley asked earlier where Gigi went and I said home, and she said, "no, she can't go home--she lives here."
As I mentioned, Jeff had sinus surgery on Friday. He's had a chronic sinus infection pretty much since the time we moved to Lubbock back in July. His surgery went well and other than some uncomfortable pain the past couple of days, his recovery is going as planned. Hopefully, this surgery will give him the relief he needs from his sinus pain!
Needless to say, we didn't have a very eventful Valentine's weekend. However, the girls both had Valentine's parties at school on Friday. Unfortunately, they were both at the same time so I had to choose one to go to. I hadn't been to any of Landry's school parties this year and had been to one of Korley's this year, so I chose to go to Landry's school. It was a really nice party. Several kids' parents from her class were there, so I'm glad I got to come. Landry was excited that I was there as well.
Here is Landry in her classroom with her Valentine's box that Gigi made for her. It was THE BEST box in the class!
If anyone has any tips on how I can get a good picture of BOTH of my kids at the same time, do share.....One of them always has to have a crazy face....

Jeff I hope you feel better and better this week! I can't believe how well your post-op days have been; you are quite a trooper!
Courtney, thanks for having me! I really enjoyed the "alone" time we had, as well as the time with the girls!
Precious family! I look forward to seeing you all again really soon!
Sorry, I can't help you with any tips for the photo sessions...boys aren't any better.
I love their little V-day shirts!
You had better not pull the plug- I need my weekly laugh!!
That box is precious! Also, your girls always look so cute in pics!!
Now that you have moved to Lubbock you need to update your blog more than ever!! We sure do miss y'all.
I did read that scoop, but I heard a different scoop I find more realistic.
I heard he chooses Melissa and then while they are apart for the show, she gets back with her ex and breaks off the engagement with Jason.
