Pronunciation

I love it when kids say words incorrectly. Landry is seven and to this day still says "stunk" instead of "skunk". (It's fitting, though, right?)

I know we need to correct her. Someone will probably embarrass her someday when she says it wrong. But, I love the innocence of children and their vocabulary.

Korley used a term incorrectly yesterday, and it was the first time I had heard her say it. She wanted some milk but was adamant about not wanting it in her sippy cup. Instead, she wanted it in her water bottom (water bottle).

Sorry-- but that's just a term I can't let her say incorrectly till she's seven!

That is so cute! Mary Beth likes to stick one foot in the air and "valance". I love it!

Water bottom....heehee! I don't correct Ellie's grammar because I think it is so cute when she starts her sentences with "her." Of course, it won't seem so cute when she isn't so small.
