Pretend Birthday

Landry's sixth birthday is tomorrow (more about that tomorrow), but we had her party this past Saturday. The past couple of years we've had her party on the weekend prior to her actual birthday. This creates a lot of confusion for her. She basically thinks her party was "dress rehearsal" for another party that will follow on her real birthday. She'll say things like, "Since Savannah didn't get to come to my pretend party, will she get to come to my real birthday party?" Hope tomorrow doesn't come as a total disappointment to her!

Anyway, she had her party at a bounce place (just like when she turned four) and chose to have a horse-themed cake (just like when she turned five)--we're creatures of habit. At any rate, it was a lot of fun!

I'm mad at myself for not taking more pictures! I got several during pizza and cake, but didn't get very many while the kids were playing--I hate when I do that! Anyway, enjoy the *few* that I do have! :)

Bouncing!

Korley enjoyed the jumping, too! (I promise she had more fun than appears in this picture!)

The kids singing (screaming!) "Happy Birthday"

It's hard to believe Landry is turning six; time has truly flown! PopPop and I enjoyed being part of the "dress rehearsal" party along with Landry's really nice friends! We especially enjoyed having the birthday girl spend the night with us! Landry is such a joy; we love being with her! Thanks for including us; we had fun!
