I don't have much to write about today, but feel I need to post something new since Valentine's Day has come and gone.
We went to Arlington this past weekend to visit my parents. It's always so nice and relaxing to go there. They watch the girls and let Jeff and me sleep in in the mornings. Ahhhhhh!
This past weekend was the annual father/daughter dance in Frisco. Jeff and Landry did not go, but he did take her on a special date Sunday afternoon. They went to a place that all five-year-old girls dream of.....The North American Reptile Breeder's Conference & Trade Show in Arlington. I'm not kidding. She loved this and for the past two days has been talking about all of the different kinds of snakes, lizards, iguanas, geckos and turtles she got to see and touch. Jeff was more impressed and amused by the various "walks of life" that frequent an event like a reptile show. She really really really really wanted to get a pet lizard, but it was actually quite an investment. You had to get the aquarium (or whatever it's called that they live in), a heat lamp, crickets, etc. So, she left broken-hearted that she didn't get to buy a pet reptile. I, on the other hand, was delighted.

You have to get that girl a snake, or lizard or camono dragon...something! LOL...maybe she'd settle for one of those small turtles...though I doubt it.
I know what I am getting her for her birthday next year!
