A couple of funny Landry comments:
Yesterday, she was telling me about how a butterfly becomes a butterfly. She said it is a caterpillar and then it goes into a "raccoon" and then it comes out a butterfly. I can only imagine how disturbing that must be in a four-year-olds mind's eye!!
Last night she wanted me to sing the "wolf" song for her at bedtime. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about and she said it's Baah Baah Black Sheep. I asked her how that was a wolf song so she sang "Baah Baah Black Sheep, have you any wolf?" I tried to explain why it was "wool" but she still insisted on "wolf"--three bags full of wolf.
I included the below picture 1) because it kind of looks like a black sheep in the background and I thought it was fitting to the previous story (I DO KNOW it's not a sheep, though!) and 2) this picture makes me laugh. My sister took this of Landry the day she took her to the San Antonio zoo. It was HOT that day. Really hot. When they left the zoo and got in Lindsay's car, her car thermometer said it was 111 degrees!
Have a great Friday!!

Those song stories always crack me up! The things that go on in a preschoolers mind...
Sam started singing "row your boat" yesterday and sang this:
Row, Row, Row your boat
Gently down the street!
I told him that boats go in the water like a stream, not on the street! He insists that the word is street and liked singing it "his" way better...whatever!
Very cute!! I love it when kids get the words to songs wrong. I also love that the caterpillar goes into a raccoon!
Cute picture. She looks like she is ready to go!!
