December Happenings

Korley had her Kindergarten field trip on Friday, Dec. 9.  They went to Mainstay Farm in Burleson and had been looking forward to it for weeks!  The kids got to ride on a hayride through the Christmas tree farm, play on a HUGE playground, play in the "hay and play" barn, and roast marshmallows.  It was a pretty cold day, but the kids didn't care--they had a blast!

Jeff and I took a break from the December hustle and bustle and went to Costa Rica for a few days last week.  We went for his best friend, Mark's, wedding, in which Jeff was the best man.

Costa Rica was beautiful and it was a nice break in December to be in 80 degree weather!

Here are Jeff and Mark just before the ceremony.

The ceremony--with the amazing ocean back-drop

Occasionally, I get in pictures, too!

Mark & Mareda--the beautiful newlyweds!  Congratulations!!

We got back from Costa Rica just in time to make Korley's Kindergarten Christmas party.  (Unfortunately, Landry was sick the day of the class parties and had to miss school!  Big bummer having to miss party day!)

Jeff and I both attended Korley's party and she loved having us there!  We made crafts with her, decorated cookies, and played games.

Korley was so proud to pass out the "snowman soup" packages to her class friends!

And, any one who would listen got to hear about Korley's latest lost tooth!  :)

This past Saturday, Jeff, my dad, Landry, and her friend, McKenzie all went to watch Aledo play in the state championship game at Cowboy stadium.

It was a great game that drew a BIG crowd!  Fortunately, Aledo won 49-28, making this their 3rd straight state championship!  Glad we were there to see it!
