Holy moly. It's the end of the week after Spring Break, and it's hard for me to believe we're into March much less past Spring Break....so, it's catching up time!
We started Spring Break with a visit from our Lubbock friends, the Jordans. Their oldest son, Kelan, and Landry were great friends and classmates when we were in Lubbock and have continued their friendship since we have moved. They definitely miss each other, but don't skip a beat when they get together. We enjoyed having them come visit us and going to Six Flags on Saturday. The weather was absolutely perfect.
Landry, Kelan, Korley, and Kyler (is it just me or does Sylvester look like he's trying to each Landry's head??)
I hate this picture of me, but as much as I hate it, I love it even more of Korley. She puts the thrill in thrill rides!
The drive home.....pooped. out!!
On Tuesday, our friends the Schwertners, came over for a visit. Kristen and I took the girls to see Rango (worst movie ever) and then they came over for dinner. The girls were literally in the hot tub for hours!! Here they are either acting like sharks or walking like Egyptians.

Wednesday through Sunday, the girls spent time at both Jeff's parents' house and my parents' house. That left time for Jeff and me to go eat at yummy, adult restaurants that don't specialize in kids' coloring menus. It also gave us time to prepare for the party we had at our house on Saturday night. We hosted an engagement party for Jeff's oldest (not in age but from waaaaay back) friend, Mark, and his fiance, Mareda. We were blessed with great weather, a great turnout, and plans that went off without a hitch! It was a fun night!
The guests of honor--Mark & Mareda
The Edwards in attendance....Glenn (Jeff's brother), Jonnie (Glenn's wife), Jeanne (Jeff's mom), Jeff, and Carl (Jeff's dad)

Y'all are such Six Flags pros! I swear y'all have been more in the past year than I have been in my entire life!
Glad you had great weather for all of your events.
I love the pool pic of the kids. Too cute!
