Thanksgiving 2010

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving!  I know I took it for granted when we lived in McKinney and were close enough to family that we didn't have to travel far to get together for holidays, but I take it for granted no longer!  It was SO NICE to not have to pack up the car and travel back to Lubbock this year. We are loving living closer to our families again!

Korley's class had a little Thanksgiving lunch at her school for her class and parents.  It was fun to get to be with her class and the kids she constantly talk about.

{side note--no, I didn't purposely try to dress like a Pilgrim}

Korley was insistent that Jeff and I take a picture with her friend Elizabeth.

We spent Thanksgiving day at Gigi and PopPop's (my parents).  They had a lot of craft stuff to keep the girls (and some grown-ups) busy before lunch was ready.  PopPop is helping Korley with her pine cone turkey.

Landry and her indian headband.....pretty girl!

Korley's signature smirk!

Korley was quite tickled about something.....she has the best belly laugh!

Lindsay, Brady and me

The following day, we celebrated Thanksgiving at Jeff's parents' house.  Here are the girls with their cousins--Lindsay, Adrienne, and Bailey.  They LOVE their cousins!!

Saturday after Thanksgiving, we met up with all of the Halls for a little mini-reunion.  We haven't ALL been together since my grandmother died 8 years ago!  Most of us live in the same area so it is ridiculous that it took so long to get together, but this was the year.

Here are all of the Hall cousins--Jeff and the two girls on the far right are spouses {clarify--not of each other, but you know.....}

My dad and his two twin brothers, Lynn and John

The original Halls

The grandkids.....Pierson, Landry, Korley, and Macy

Pierson and his red cheeks!  He had been playing HARD in the game room.  And, sweet baby Macy--she got passed around to everyone and didn't fuss once!  Trooper of a baby!
