Sunday, January 31, 2010 was one of the best days of my life.
Landry has been talking for several months now and asking questions about wanting to be baptized--this past Sunday was finally THE day!
As I mentioned in my previous post, my parents, brother and sister all came into town to be here for her special day.
Here she is about to get into the (portable!) baptistry!
Hooray! I love this picture. Landry has never really seen anyone get baptized so she didn't know "how" to come out of the water. In fact, when she first went up the steps she turned her back to the baptistry like she was going to fall in backwards (think Nestea plunge!). The fact that she came up with her "victory arms" held high was just pure raw emotion. So great!

That is a picture we should all hold close to our heart! I remember feeling that same way on my baptism day!! I love it and my heart is celebrating for her today!!
