Last week we were in Austin with our friends, the Andersons. We had a blast together and the kids got along great!
We did a lot of swimming.....
We went to San Antonio one day to go to Sea World. It was stinkin' HOT!! But, most Texas schools weren't out yet, so it was a nice day to go as far as the crowds were concerned. (FYI, my kids DID have shorts, but they got wet before this picture was taken and they were drying out on top of the stoller.)
This is a pic of Landry when she was 3 and we took her to Sea World for the first time. This was her reaction to seeing the dolphin show.
Cut to 4 years later. Here's Korley's reaction.....slightly less enthused.
On Thursday, we left Austin and the girls and I went to Arlington to Pop Pop and Gigi's. Jeff had to go back to Lubbock to work.
Korley spent some time blowing bubbles.....
Man, that kid's cute!
Landry spent some time playing with Lulu's dog, Norm. Baxter is smaller than Norm's whole head.
Korley got to go swimming with Uncle Buzzy.....
On Saturday, we went to the FW Stockyards. The girls and I had never gone down there before to see the cattle drive, and we thought it would be a fun Saturday outing.
The girls got to ride about $7.75 worth of fake horses......
and a real horse (ok, pony), too!
And, to round out the theme, Landry got a new horse costume.
