About an hour later it stopped sleeting and started snowing. Granted, I haven't actually seen a lot of snow in my lifetime, but I have certainly never seen flakes like we had today. They were huge. It looked like cotton balls falling from the sky.
Jeff promised Landry that he would take them out to play in the snow as soon as Korley woke up from her nap. As you can see, she was chomping at the bit. She waited.....
....and waited some more.
After Landry asked no less than 4 million times if we could go *yet* Jeff finally gave in and took her out and they got started on a snowman. Korley joined us later and basically repeated what she did Tuesday in the snow--she stood there and said "it's coooooohhhhhhd". Here she is in mid-sentence.....
And, here's the finished snowman.
Just a comparison picture of the snow on our house today from the snow from Tuesday.

I love Korley's mid-sentence pic!
Jake just wanted to eat the candy we were using for the snowmans face. He did not want to wear gloves,so much fun!!
Landry looks so cute waiting so patiently. I love the picture of Korley in mid-sentence!!
Your house is beautiful!! My parents said the same thing about the snow. We live 30 minutes away and NO snow!! Just sleet! Here's hoping that it will really do a number tonight!!
Wow, a snowman! We never get enough for that!!
Precious little Landry; so patient! I can remember seeing snow for the first time when I was in 3rd grade; I could not wait to get outside in it. I'm quite certain I wasn't as patient as Landry. I can just hear Korley saying "COLD!" The girls are so cute, and the snowman is awesome! Way to go Edwards family! We had just a dusting of snow at our house. The streets were totally dry here this morning--as if a storm never came through the area! But, as Korley says, it was COLD!
So cute! We didn't get nearly as much snow out here in HillBillyVille!
Awww, I love snow pics. I grew up in North Dakota and winter was always so fun. I think Ellie would freak out if she ever felt snow!
