Landry woke up a little early and since our school district didn't delay or cancel school and I knew this winter wonderland wouldn't be around this afternoon, I let her go outside and play for a while. Basically she was just making "numbers" with her footprints in the snow.
And, of course, I tried to get a picture of both of them in the snow before school, but Korley was not in a picture taking mood (as usual). I promise y'all--this child DOES smile--just not for cameras. She just stood there and kept saying, "it's COOOOOOHD!". Also, despite what it looks like, Landry does still have hands (just doesn't have gloves!).

In other news, I can SEE!!! I had my Lasik done last Friday and after 20+ years of relying on glasses or contacts I can see with my own two eyes! On Friday morning my vision was about 20/700 and by Saturday morning at my post-op appt I was reading 20/15. It's amazing that something like Lasik that's so quick and simple can make such a difference!

Love your house! Will you adopt me? =) I'm STILL pouting that I didn't get any pics of Coop to commemorate his first snow ... he slept right through and that dang hubby of mine threatened me within an inch of my life if I woke him up. Everything was all squishy and gross by the AM. Poo. Glad your girls go to enjoy the fleeting moment!!! Such cute pics.
This weather is crazy! Today, I am wearing shorts and enjoying the weather. Monday, it was freezing. Tomorrow, we are expecting snow flurries!

Hey Courtney! Your girls are so cute, I enjoy reading your blog to keep you with your family...also glad to hear your Lasik went well...my dad and stepmom want me to do it, but I can't right now since I'm pregnant...maybe in the fall. Anyway, you'll have to keep me posted on how it works for you.

I am SO jealous of your Lasik job!! How long did it take? How does it feel to wake up and really be able to see? I guess I am happy for you! :)
