Spooktacular Pictures!

We had a great Halloween! The first two pictures below are of the girls before they went to school. Landry had a Halloween party in her class and they got to wear their costumes. She DID NOT want to wear her Mary costume to school, which didn't make me very happy since that is what she BEGGED for, so she opted to be a ballerina (again-like last year). And, little Korley wore her little Hallowen outfit to school.

I told Landry she HAD to wear Mary to go trick-or-treating or that we wouldn't go (I know, I'm mean). She had already worn this once, but since it was cold tonight I put on a layer of clothes underneath and once she put on the costume she said "oh! It's not itchy anymore!" Ahhhhh- so that's why she wouldn't wear it to school!!

Landry's favorite part of Halloween is sitting on the porch and handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters. She was so funny; she doesn't wait for them to come up the porch or anything. Instead, she will yell at the kids from 2 or 3 houses and say "HEY! Come over here. We've got candy!!" So funny!

Here are Mary and her little lamb......

You always make me laugh. The girls look SO cute and I love it that Landry calls out to everyone!

Which candy did you love this year? I remember cracking up at your candy blog last year!

Traci- Funny you remembered that post! I actually thought about that the other night when I was rummaging through Landry's Halloween candy and found several SpongeBob Crabby Patties (yuk!!)....

I am sticking with my old favorites again; Reese's peanut butter cups, Twix, Snickers, basically anything chocolate. I have recently developed a deep and maddening love for the Hershey's dark chocolate miniatures...mmmmmmm!

I especially remember the comment about peppermints......

Reeses are the best! I was LOVING the Willy Wonka banana taffy too! I haven't gotten into the dark chocolate stage yet!
