I'm Waving My White Flag........

I-----AM------SO------TIRED!!!!

Anyone had one of those days (weeks?) where you just want to briefly turn in your mommy card? Not forever, but just for maybe six or so uninterrupted hours of sleep. I am in the midst of one of those. Korley has had a runny nose/cough/congestion/croup/ear infection/teething for three weeks now on top of INSOMNIA! I swear this child does not sleep. She's quite the trickster....she was sleeping through the night, but she has decided to turn the last few weeks into one big long (un)slumber party--and I'm using the term "party" very loosely!!

Then, Thursday, I came down with the worst stomach bug I've ever had. Not only was I sick (from both ends....sorry for the TMI) but I had fever, muscle soreness, and what felt like an elephant jumping double-dutch on my forehead. If I had been a pumpkin, this is what I would have looked like.....

However, I am hopeful that we are on the downward slope of the sick hill and we can soon all get some rest!

In less Debby Downer news......

Our church fall festival was last Wednesday night. It had been rainy all day here and I don't think the church was fully prepared for "plan B", but they did go ahead and have the festival indoors. It wasn't the fun that it was last year, but Landry didn't care--she had fun anyway.

Here's a picture of Mary and her little lamb......

Then, today our neighborhood had a pumpking carving contest. We took the girls to the pumpkin patch beforehand for Landry to pick out a pumpkin to carve. Here are some pics from the pumpkin patch.

Never mind....Blogger sucks. Ugh! Maybe later....Funny how they'll late me post a pic of a puking pumpkin, but not a pic of my darling lil' pumpkins!!

Hope everyone has a great Halloween!

We have all had the yucky virus around here. I thought Cary was going to miss it but he got it this morning. Ugh!! I am so ready for all of us to be well. I will keep you in my prayers because I do not function well on little sleep.

On a much better note, your girls look precious in their costumes. I have tried for the past two years to dress my girls in like costumes but it never seems to work out. Happy Halloween!!
