Pump, pump, pa-pump, pa-pump, pa-pump, pump, pump........

Last night Landry was coloring a dinosaur page (what else would a four-year-old girl be interested in?) at our coffee table in the living room. "Wheel of Fortune" (one of my faves!) was on in the background, and during the commercial break I was fluttering around the house putting away laundry, cleaning up clutter, etc. When I came back in the room a few minutes later Landry asked me how to spell "blood pressure."

What??

Wondering if I heard her correctly, I said "blood pressure"??? And she said "yes" as she sat there with her marker ready for me to start spelling. So, I spelled it for her and she wrote it down.

I decided it was probably something she heard on TV so I rewinded the TiVo (love this feature) and realized that she must have gotten it off of the Levitra commercial. Fortunately, the only phrase she picked up was "blood pressure". Somehow she fortunately missed these:

"erectile dysfunction"
"angina" (I should be a grown-up, but this word gives me the giggles)
"erection lasting longer than four hours"
"sexually transmitted diseases"

Maybe we need to add "Wheel of Fortune" to our parental block!! :)

Have a great day!

My favorite are the commercials with a man and a woman riding bikes and walking on the beach talking about how genital herpes hasn't slowed them down.

Nice!

I am laughing so hard at this post! I love that Landry picked up blood pressure out of all the rest of the side effects. Smart Girl! Wait til that Lamisil commercial comes on. She can really have a field day with that one!
