Have you ever thought something was really funny that your husband thought wasn't so much.....?
This happened to us today. Jeff called as he was driving and something is newly "wrong" with his car. Everytime he brakes, his horn honks......and it continues honking the whole time his foot is on the brake. He had to drive from MCKINNEY to FORT WORTH, all the while intermittently honking the whole way. I talked to him as he was exiting the hospital district in Ft. Worth and it sounded like:
beep (slow down to exit)
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep (stuck at the red light to turn)
beep...beep....beep (driving behind slow people)
beeeeep (stopping at a stop sign)
He said that people around him were staring and he would just shrug his shoulders and look bewildered! HA!!

In other news, I had a great weekend. I took off work Friday and had a spa day. I had a massage, wrap, facial, pedicure, and lunch (my sister and mom joined me for lunch). The most fabulous part of all, though, was getting to LAY ON MY STOMACH during my massage. If all I could have gotten to do was lay on my stomach for an hour it would have been worth it!!
Friday night, Lindsay and I went to the Michael Buble concert in Ft. Worth. I wasn't too familiar with him before Friday night, (I had really only seen him on Days of Our Lives, Dancing with the Stars, and a Hallmark commercial) but Lindsay is a big fan and I had fun at the concert with her.
We were pretty much homebound due to all of the rain on Saturday. But, I did take Landry to see Curious George. She really liked it and it was nice to get out of the house.....I mean it was nice to get away from BASKETBALL!!!
We were rained in again most of the day Sunday, but we did get the house spic and span clean. I HATE cleaning, but I LOVE a clean house.
Baby day is two weeks from today!! YEA!

The story about your husband's car had me laughing out loud. So much so Kaylee came over to ask me what was wrong. I can just picture it in my head and still laugh. Thank you for the humor today.
Two weeks!! How exciting!! I cannot wait to see pictures of your new addition and the Big sister too.

From McKinney to Ft. Worth??? That is a LONG drive to have your horn honking every time you brake. I have laughed ever since I read this and even got Kevin to read it too (he thought it was hilarious btw).
Are you ready? Have all your last minute baby things done and together? I know you must be getting excited and so ready!
