Zoo

I'm so excited to see Landry this evening. She has been asking for several weeks for us to take her to the zoo. It's been so HOT here lately and on the weekends we have had so much going on, that we just haven't made the trip yet. Every night when we put her to be she says "I want to tell you one more question."......"Are we going to go to the zoo on Monday?" (Monday sometimes means "tomorrow." )

Yesterday, my sister-in-law called to see if Landry could go to the zoo with her and her three cousins, as well as storytime at the library. Landry was SO excited! She immediately asked me what she could take with her to the zoo. She insisted on taking her toy dinosaur so she could "show the animals." Weird...yes, but thoughtful.

I'm anxious for her to get home so I can hear all about it. I hope the animals enjoyed getting to see the plastic brontosauraus......there was a lot of thought put into it!
