Islands in the Stream.....That is What We AREN'T
Elizabeth's blog from yesterday http://elizabethbarnhill.blogspot.com/ .......(I don't know how to do the cool thing where you just have a word, but it makes a link).........made me think of our Halloween party last year. The theme was "Famous Couples". Jeff and I last minute, and I mean last minute, decided to be Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers (late 70s version). As you can see below, it was a VERY failed attempt, especially Kenny. Poor Jeff's spray on gray beard kept "bleeding" down his face. His brown wig that we spray painted was terrible. It was actually a mullet that we cut the tail off of. He didn't even closely resemble Kenny Rogers. He looked more like Ted Kazinski (the una-bomber).

You guys are all making me think that Kevin and I are stick-in-the-muds -- we never have dressed up together for Halloween? And now I spend so much time on Sam & Seth's costumes, I don't have the energy!
All of my college friends that live in the area have a big Halloween party every year. We've done this since 1999. We really look forward to it now. It's fun to see everyone's costume!
