WEATHER
It's 9:45 am; I just looked out the window and it looks like midnight. Hallelujah! I really thought if it was 100+ today that I might have to commit myself into a psych ward. I HATE being hot and I have been constantly burning up on fire for the last month.
I took Landry and Korley to the mall on Saturday. Before we got out of the car my car thermometer read 103 degrees. As we were walking in Landry said, "Mommy, someone needs to change the weather!!". I said, "I KNOW!!" She said, "Who can we get to change the weather?" and I said, "Only God can do that." She said, "How can he do that?" And I said, "Well, you have to pray to him if you want him to change the weather."
So, she stopped in the parking lot, bowed her head and put her "prayer hands" together and said "Dear God, PLEASE don't make it sunshiney anymore. I am REALLY HOT. Amen."
And we then continued on into the mall.
WEEKEND
We had a nice weekend. Friday night was our neighborhood ladies Bunco night. So fun! I didn't win anything this time, but we had a great time. I took Landry and Korley to the mall on Saturday. Both of them were SO good at the mall. Saturday night we met our friends Horace and Christy for a great Cajun dinner. Good times! Yesterday we went to church and then lunch and last night we went to our friends house for our fantasy football draft. Good food, good friends, good fun! I drafted Tony Romo for my last pick....... :)

Woohoo!! The Office won best comedy. Very well deserved! I HEART THIS SHOW!!!! And, I don't watch 24, but my mom thinks it's the best show in the history of television, so I'm glad that 24 won. Plus, I like Keifer Sutherland.

It makes me happy to know that Landry has some pull with the man upstairs! YEA for the rain!

Lindsay, trust me...I am probably the only person in all of America that is playing fantasy football that even put Tony Romo on my team. He's lucky he even got spot #15!!

Thomas walked outside this morning and said, "It's freezing!" I guess when you are used to 100 plus days, 63 feels like Fargo, North Dakota!
