I need a nap.....I need a shower.....I have three baby outfits that need to be washed due to the "poop incident of 4-19-06" (yes, the baby's poop).....I have phone calls to make.....I have Easter loot to put away

BUT

I would rather blog!

We had a great Easter weekend despite the 1 million degree temps. We went to my parents house on Saturday. The highlight of Saturday for me was going to eat SUSHI with Jeff and Lindsay. It has been 10 months since I have had sushi and I had really been craving it since I had Korley. It was SO good!

On Easter Sunday we did not go to church, but we had a nice big meal at my parents house and then Landry hunted eggs in their front yard. The Easter bunny brought her a piggy bank, so she got to collect a lot of eggs with coins to put in her new bank.

Landry went back to San Antonio on Monday evening with Lindsay for the week. We were worried that she might get homesick, but her Aunt Lulu has kept her very busy with getting to play with the "four-year-old children" (Landry's words....she thinks she's much older) at Oak Hills, the zoo, parks, and Sea World. However, I miss her A LOT! I think it's way harder on me than it has been for her! I can hardly wait to pick her up on Saturday.

Here are a few pics from this past weekend. I'm going to try and go tackle the above mentioned list of neglected chores now.

Have a happy Wednesday!

I have been wondering about you. I do remember the adjustment after not having had a baby for 3 1/2 years. Sounds like you are doing great!! I am sure Landry is enjoying some extra attention but I know it is hard on the Mom.

Your daughters are just precious!! Try to get some rest if possible before Landry gets back and you have a four year old to entertain when you want to be sleeping like the baby. You continue to be in my prayers.

I wish I lived in Dallas again and we would definitely go shopping:) I live for the matching outfits. The Lord knew what he was doing by not giving me twins because we would be broke with all the matching outfits. I try to buy a few outfits per season and Kaylee actually likes matching her sister right now so I am going with it. Take care.

You have two very beautiful daughers! Mine was too small to fit in any sort of cute Easter dress this year.

I loved the Easter pictures of your two little girls -- and of course, I love matching outfits always. One day, my boys are going to hate me for doing that to them, but for now, it is my choice!

Enjoy some rest while Landry is gone -- Sam went and spent a few days with my parents after Seth was born and it was nice to be able to just get to know your new family member with no distractions!

I LOVE their Easter outfits. Too cute! And those pictures are sooo sweet!

This is the first year that I haven't put the kids in pastels for Easter. Seeing your pictures makes me want to do that next year.

I hope Mommyhood is going great for you!
