Landry has been very interested this year in the why's and how's of Christmas, particularly the mystery behind Santa Claus. Why does he have a sleigh? Why does he have reindeer? How does it fly? Why does he live at the North Pole?
Last night we were discussing how Santa comes down through the chimney to leave gifts and why he does that. After a few seconds of discussion she asked, "Does Santa sometimes burn his bottom in fireplaces?"
Hmmmmm............leave it to my three-year-old to bring up something I have never thought of!

I remember being very concerned about that. Mom and Dad always told me that they (along with every other parent) would put out the fire in plenty of time for Santa to come!
